Audition Masterclass

Get creative for free

Every Tuesday, 7 June – 12 July 2022

Wales Millennium Centre

Are you looking to train as an actor, apply for drama schools or re-audition this year? If so, then this is for you!

Our course is designed to assist young people aged between 17–25 who want to apply to drama schools and conservatoires in the UK.

The course will be facilitated by Welsh actor Billy McCleary. Billy trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London and is a Young Associate with Theatr na nÓg.

This preparation course offers a range of hands-on workshops that will give you the practical skills you need for future auditions.

You'll gain experience through technical workshops in voice, physicalisation and character development, and apply the work to your monologues - culminating in a mock audition in front of an industry panel, where you'll be able to consolidate your new skills.

There will be plenty of guidance throughout the course, looking at your audition material, how best to present yourself in an audition and also look at any areas for development.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This course is available to anyone aged 17 – 25 from all backgrounds across Wales.

WHEN IS IT?

Every Tuesday, 5pm – 7pm for six weeks starting 7 June 2022.

This course has six sessions taking place on: 7 June, 14 June, 21 June, 28 June, 5 July, and 12 July and you’ll need to attend each one. Please add one ticket to your basket to book your place on the entire course.

ABOUT OUR CREATIVE VOICE COURSES
