Want to break into the TV and film industry or curious about the opportunities the media world could provide?

If you're looking to boost your current skills or just learn more about the media industry, then this free six-week course is for you.

The television and film industry in Wales is the busiest it's ever been and is providing more and more employment opportunities. Screen Alliance Wales (SAW) are an organisation who aim to ensure these productions have film crew today, but more importantly in the future.

On this course you'll be given guidance on key elements to improve your filmmaking skills across multiple levels with one of SAW’s Training Managers, Rhys Bebb.

For the relative newcomer looking to learn more, or someone who has made their own content in the past, these sessions will seriously improve your skills, no matter what your experience.

Throughout the course, key aspects of the media industry will be covered, starting with camera skills but you'll also learn about other useful skills such as post-production, editing and marketing.

Having this insight will give you an understanding of what goes into making a TV production, and potentially make you more employable in the media world.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This course is available to anyone aged 14-25 from all backgrounds across Wales.

WHEN IS IT?

Every Monday, 4.30pm – 6.30pm for six weeks starting 28 February 2022.

This course has six sessions taking place on: 28 February, 7 March, 14 March, 21 March, 28 March, and 4 April and you’ll need to attend each one. Please add one ticket to your basket to book your place on the entire course.
