Inspired by Welsh National Opera’s brand-new opera, Blaze of Glory! the Forget-me-not Chorus explore the joy and life affirming power of community singing to support and sustain those living with dementia and the friends and family who love and care for them.

Featuring a new commission by composer David Harrington and writer Emma Jenkins, Serenade - I’m there for you and you for me, So that we can be the best that we can be celebrates the uniqueness of song to transcend all barriers. 

This choral work is an exhilarating fusion of new music for solo voice and sextet, interwoven with poetry and pre-existing popular songs. The libretto expounds the virtues of community and fellowship. Performing alongside the chorus and soloists are members of WNO Orchestra.
