Three influential, female-identifying creatives will be sharing their experience of working in immersive arts and technology, sharing insights and inspiration to help others to make their mark in the immersive tech space.

Try an immersive experience
Before and after the event, you can also experience Monoliths – a free virtual reality experience in Bocs, our dedicated immersive space. The 11-minute production features radiant renderings of three northern UK environments, sweeping soundscapes and poetic monologues.
Lucy Hammond, creative producer of Monoliths, will be one of the guest speakers.

Speakers
Lucy Hammond
Lucy is a Creative Producer and Director with Pilot Theatre. Her work is focused on immersive and interactive storytelling. Recent projects include ’The Archive’, an interactive game exploring happiness and the VR experience ‘Monoliths’ (Sheffield DocFest 2022, MIFF 2022, ASFF 2022, BFI London Film Festival 2022), celebrating the voices of northern women and the northern landscape. In 2019 Lucy’s VR piece, ‘Traitor’ which combines virtual reality, film and a live actor premiered in competition at Tribeca Film Festival 2019. She has also presented and hosted at several conferences including Beyond Conference 2021, Culture 24: Let’s Get Real, The Immersive Storytelling Symposium at Liverpool John Moores University, Sharing is Caring: Shared Experiences in Mixed Reality panel at Tribeca Film Festival and PlatformSHIFT+ Creative Forums in Tallinn, Budapest and Lisbon.
Victoria Eyton
Victoria Eyton has worked with DARKFIELD as Creative Producer and Creative Director since 2016 across all projects, and has extensive experience working within large scale immersive theatre performance. Her vast portfolio includes Brave New World for NBC Universal and ABBA’s new sell-out show The Voyage. Victoria has also worked for Punchdrunk since 2013 on projects including Sleep No More Shanghai, The Lost Lending Library, The Oracles, Absolut Silverpoint, The Drowned Man: A Hollywood Fable and various R&D projects.
Asha Easton
Asha Easton is currently Innovate UK KTN’s Lead for Immerse UK, the UK’s national innovation network for immersive technology professionals. The organisation works to grow the immersive tech industry in the UK, and make the ecosystem across the country less fragmented by facilitating connections between private companies, the academic community, and the government. Asha is particularly passionate about helping to promote diversity & inclusion in the industry. She is one of the original members of the London chapter of Women in Immersive Tech (WiiT), a co-founder of the XR Diversity Initiative, and an ED&I advisor to Europe’s first Metaverse fund, FOV Ventures.
