Moulding their love of Americana and folk into gorgeously crafted tales of love and loss, The Staves are one of modern folk-pop’s finest acts.
The group’s first album in over five years Good Woman (released in 2021), is an accumulation of everything that life has thrown at them in that time – a major upheaval, heartbreak and the loss of their mother in 2018. The record is their most personal and energetic work yet, working with producer John Congleton (St Vincent, Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen) to craft a more self-confident and raw expression of intent.
